Why? Because a decent standalone FMS isn't going to run you $10K. Maybe an ultimate system setup for a drag car or some really high end piece...but not the crap that shop had. The NOS system was mentioned twice even though there's only one. That setup is $500 average and $1000 perhaps with an extra bottle and all the direct port stuff. The HKS AIC is around $900 and the cold air intake is probably $100-$200. So you're floating around $2,000. When he mentions the turbo, remember that it's ONE turbo not two like we need. A solid T4 turbo with an S trim compressor wheel, O trim turbine wheel and an A/R .84 turbine housing is around $500 or so. That's $2,500. That leaves $7,500 or so for a SFMS...totally possible. I can't believe I just spent the time to type this, but at least it's over :)
